Travel info:
Nearest Tube Station: Northwood Hills on the Metropolitan Line. Approx 1/2 mile walk. Turn right out of the station, at the roundabout turn left onto Pinner Road, then left into Chestnut Avenue.
However I have been advised there is a shortcut which halves the walking time. There is an alleyway that runs down the side of the pub/restaurant opposite (Namaste Lounge), follow that round, right into York Road and then it leads to Highland Road where the alternative park entrance can be found. Ground and Clubhouse is in front of you.

Match Preview
Northwood play in the Isthmian South Central at Step 4 finishing in 5th place last season, narrowly losing 2-1 to Walton & Hersham in the play of semi final. Nicknamed the Woods and formed in 1926. The have a long history in the FA Cup reaching the second round qualifying on eight occasions, the last before this season being 2015/16. Their best was season 2000/01 losing after a replay to Grays Athletic in the fourth qualifying round.
As we never tire of saying the Millers reached the first round proper of the FA Cup in season 2020/21 losing 1-0 to Havant & Waterlooville. This is the fourth time they have reached the second qualifying stage since first entering the FA Cup in 2013/14.
Recent results:
Northwood have won both their league games so far this season, beating Corinthian Casuals 4-0 and Binfield 4-1 both at the Skyline Roofing Stadium. In the FA Cup they have progressed with wins at Buckhurst Hill 1-0, then 1-0 to Binfield having drawn the first game away at Binfield 2-2. On Saturday they made the long journey to Ramsgate losing 3-0 in their FA Trophy tie, however, returned to winning ways on Tuesday beating Marlow 2-1 in the Isthmian Velocity Trophy.
The Millers have two wins and a draw in the league, the victories both coming away from home at Sittingbourne 3-2 and Phoenix Sports 7-2. In between they drew 2-2 at home to Broadbridge Heath. They have progressed in the FA Cup beating Lordswood 4-1 in the replay after a 1-1 away draw in the first game. The last round saw a trip to play Uxbridge at Slough Town FC, their temporary home, the Millers winning 3-0. Saturday brought a victory at Broadbridge Heath 2-0 in the FA Trophy.
So both sides have made good starts to the season and with £3,375 prize money for the winner it promises, as always, to be compelling viewing, hope to see you there. I may well give the train and underground a go this Saturday!
Previous Meetings:
There are no previous meetings between the two clubs.
Special mention to the Northwood website which has probably the most comprehensive records history I have seen. Click on the menu under first team archive records and find every result and final league table since 1928 and under club history an A-Z section of every player since 1970 among many detailed sections. Wow just Wow! That is some achievement to have set up and maintain records for so long.
