An exciting season for the KYL U14s, arguably not reflected fairly in the league points accumulated. The team has had to overcome untimely injuries and bouts of illness, but continues to train well, develop well and recruit well, with one eye on a more successful U15 campaign next year. There have been some memorable performances and the boys have learned lots along the way. They are hoping for a strong end to the season, before focusing efforts on the upcoming 2023/24 season.

As with all grassroots, youth football teams, the coaching and team management is largely provided on a voluntary basis, and the teams look to acquire new kit via the kind sponsorship of local businesses.

For now, the boys will have a bit of a break, but will be back playing friendlies and preparing for next year’s campaign very, very soon.
