Cray Valley Ladies find out their FA Cup opponents and welcome six new faces.

Cray Valley Ladies will again participate in the Vitality Women's FA Cup for season 2022/23 having entered the competition for the first time last season when they were beaten 3-1 by Tunbridge Wells Foresters at the Artic Stadium in the first qualifying round.

This season sees Cray Ladies given a bye in the opening round and will play either Herne Bay or Maidstone United in the second qualifying round. The tie will take place at The Artic Stadium on Sunday 2nd October kick off 2pm.

Cray Ladies, having been promoted after winning the South East Counties Womens Football League Division One East title, will this season play at step 6 for the first time, in the London & South East Regional Women's League Division One South. The league season get's underway on Sunday 21st August with a trip to play Stenning Town which can be found approximately 7 miles outside of Worthing.

Cray Ladies face a tough task ahead of them, playing at a higher level and coping with the extra travelling demands but they are looking forward to the different challenges that this season will undoubtedly bring.

Pre-season is underway and we welcome some new faces to add to some more familiar ones in the squad. Welcome Okasia, Chloe, Hannah, Terri, Olivia and Danielle who are all new to the club, we wish them well.
