Ali is a Cray Valley fan who has been a regular at the Artic Stadium for a number of years and he now brings his personal expertise to the backroom of the club.

Ali’s varied skillset will be an asset to the club, having worked in the civil service for over a quarter of a century, with experience in building and delivering medium to long-range planning, setting up governance systems and accounting.

On joining the committee, Ali said: “I’m honoured to be asked to get involved at Cray Valley PM. I’m looking forward to working with, and supporting, Marc and the rest of the committee as we start preparing for next season."
