Ade Adeyemo signs 2 year professional contract with EFL Club Crawley Town

Congratulations and good luck to Ade Adeyemo who has joined EFL club Crawley Town on a two year professional contract.

Versatile striker / attacking wideman “Toks” spent 2 years at Millwall Development College before playing for Fisher at the age of 18. After playing for Beckenham Town in the SCEFL for 2 months, Ade went to University for 4 years before joining The Millers in the summer of 2020. He briefly trained with Hayes & Yeading in the summer of 2022 but an injury hampered his progress and he returned to the Millers for the start of the season.

After scoring on his Cray Valley debut in a 6-0 FA Cup win against VCD Athletic on the 12th September 2020 he went on to make 12 appearances scoring four times before the season was curtailed due to covid. In the next full season he made 29 appearances, again scoring 4 goals. However it was season 2022/23 that he really excelled, scoring 15 times in 39 appearances and numerous player of the match nominations. He twice scored a home hat trick against Faversham Town in a 5-0 victory, which transpired to be Kevin Watson's last game in charge as manager and again later in the season in a 5-1 victory against Ashford United. He was a deserved winner of both the players player and supporters player of the year awards last season.

So after making a total of 80 appearances and 23 goals he now joins up with former Miller Jamie Day at Crawley Town who is Assistant to Manager Scott Lindsey. We wish Ade all the best and thank him for his considerable efforts and the entertainment provided over the past few seasons with the Millers
