Already a familiar face at the Artic Stadium and a big part of the logistical operation, Marc takes over from David Carter, who announced that he would be leaving earlier this week.

Marc has been an integral part of the club over the past decade and has been involved behind the scenes through title-winning campaigns in both the SCEFL and Isthmian leagues.

On his appointment, Marc said: “First of all, I want to thank Dave for his commitment to the club, which culminated in a year as chairman last season. It’s a shame to see him go but we wish him all the best for the future.

“After the disappointment of last season, I am looking forward to the challenge of getting this club back where it belongs, as well as further growing our youth team set-up.

“There are plenty of exciting times ahead and the work is already underway.”
