WELCOME BARNEY WILLIAMS
Millers manager Kevin Watson has secured his first signing of the summer, agreeing terms with 27 year old defender Barney Williams.
Barney joins the Club after making 41 appearances for Barking in the Isthmian League North Division last season - netting six times as The Blues struggled in vain to avoid relegation.
After making over 70 appearances in the National League for Welling United and Braintree early in his career, Williams spent four successful seasons at Cray Wanderers – reaching the Play-Offs in his first season, before winning promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2018/19.
He went on to become an integral member of the Wands squad that were in second place when the 2019/20 season was halted by Covid, while reaching the Fourth Round Qualifying of the FA Cup and Second Round of the FA Trophy a year later.
