Supporters will have spotted a new face coming on as a 66th minute substitute in yesterday's 1-1 draw at home to Billericay Town. Welcome Fumnaya Shomotun who has joined the Millers on a one month loan from Tonbridge Angels. A big thank you to all parties for making this happen.

Steve McKimm has moved to bolster his squad and Fumnaya, an exciting quick attacking right sided player, will give him more options particularly with long serving Denzel Gayle still sidelined through injury.

Fumnaya now 27 began his career at Barnet making his football league debut for them in 2014, going on to make around 20 first team appearances along with loan periods at Staines Town, Margate and Wealdstone before being released in 2019. Injuries and the Covid period curtailed his progress before a spell at Kingstonian in 2022. A move to Sevenoaks Town later that year in October led to 52 appearances, scoring 10 goals for them. In February 2024 he joined Dartford where he played 16 games scoring twice. Since moving to Tonbridge Angels for the start of this season, opportunities have been limited with just two substitute appearances. Hopefully this short term loan move will suit all parties.
