At the end of last week there were a couple of new additions to the playing squad and both travelled to Northwood on Saturday. Max replaced the suspended Sam in goal and performed admirably with Cem taking a place on the bench.

Max Ovenden
Max now age 28 joins providing valuable goalkeeping cover. He did in fact make a couple of Velocity Trophy appearances for the Millers back in 2019. More recently he made 35 appearances for Punjab United in season 2021/22 and last season was at Isthmian Premier side Haringey Borough. He made 14 appearances for Boro including the London Senior Cup Final which they lost to Charlton Athletic.

Cem Tumkaya
Needs no introduction having, up to the end of last season, amassed 236 appearances, scoring 14 goals for the Millers. Versatile defender Cem now 25 made his Millers debut as a 16 year old. A valued member of the SCEFL Championship winning and FA Vase finalists side in 2018/19. After a brief spell with Dulwich Hamlet at the start of this season he has now been welcomed back to the Artic Stadium.
