The old cliche "game of two halves" was true tonight after the Rams raced into a three goal lead in the opening sixteen minutes to lead 3-0 at the interval. A much improved performance from the Millers in the second half eventually saw parity achieved and the game finished 3-3. Ibby Akbani pulled a goal back on 65 minutes, followed by Luke Holness on 78 minutes, both getting their first goals of pre-season for the Millers. The equaliser came from Liam five minutes from time. Both sides had struck the post after the interval but it was the Millers who finished the game very much in the ascendancy.
