Tuesday’s five goal hammering of Faversham Town saw Valley leap into the Play Off places for the first time this season – setting up an eagerly anticipated encounter on Saturday.
The lads face our longest away trip of the season on Saturday – an estimated 160 mile round trip to the West Sussex cathedral city of Chichester.
Chi hit the headlines in 2019 when , courtesy of a first round bye due to Bury’s expulsion, their 2nd round FA Cup visit to Tranmere Rovers was televised live to a national Sunday lunchtime audience.
That same season – abandoned due to the Covid pandemic – was also their first in the Isthmian League after winning the Southern Combination Premier Division.
Currently lying 8th in the league with an unbeaten home record, this promises to be a tough afternoon for The Millers against a fellow Play Off contender.
