Match Preview: - Our Opponents
Ramsgate nicknamed The Rams visit the Artic Stadium sitting in top spot. A look back to last season show the Rams were also sitting in top spot when they visited the Artic Stadium on the 7th January 2023, the Millers in third place at the time winning 2-0 that day. The Rams ended the season as runners up, losing on penalties to Hythe Town in the play off semi final.

This season The Rams under manager Ben Smith who was appointed in May 2023 have demonstrated that once again they will be mounting a serious promotion challenge. After an opening day loss at Sevenoaks Town they have since won their next ten games, including a midweek 3-1 victory over Hythe Town on Wednesday evening. Top goalscorer for the Rams this season is Joe Taylor who joined from Lewes in the Summer. In addition they have enjoyed a club record breaking FA Cup run reaching the second round proper for the first time. They visit Football league Two side AFC Wimbledon on Monday 4th December.

The Millers have of course had their own record breaking cup runs in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy reaching the first round proper and second round respectively. Attention now turns to the league where albeit only seven games in, they do remain unbeaten, winning five of them. One or two injuries but the strong squad has been strengthen further in the past week and Saturday's clash against league leaders Ramsgate promises to be a cracker.
