Herne Bay nicknamed The Bay won promotion to the Isthmian Premier via the play off's in season 2021/22 but despite a late rally were relegated the following season and a now back as a promotion contender in the South East Division. Some upheaval behind the scenes at the end of last season by all accounts but now managed by ex Gillingham boss Steve Lovell who appears to have steadied the ship. They currently sit 7th with 21 points from 13 games. They are unbeaten in their last six league games with two wins and four draws. Top goalscorer in all competitions is Michael Salako with 11 followed by Gill Carvalho 6 and Harrison Pond 4.

The Millers having won midweek at Ashford United are now unbeaten in their opening nine league games and sit one place above The Bay on goal difference.
