THE BRIDGES RECENT HISTORY
After sixty years competing in the Sussex County League, Three Bridges joined the Isthmian ranks in 2012 after being promoted as Champions and have retained their position despite relegation in 2016/17 – winning promotion as runners-up in the Southern Combination League the following season. Last season they finished in 15th place.

THIS SEASON
The Bridges under manager Jamie Crellin now in his third season at the helm made a terrific start to the season and following victory against East Grinstead Town on the 16th December they sat in 2nd place. During that period they scored six three times against Phoenix Sports, Sheppey United and Erith & Belvedere. However just one victory in their next nine games saw them slip a little in the table. After losing 2-0 to the Millers at the beginning of February results have improved again and they are unbeaten in three games winning the last two, 4-1 against Lancing and 3-1 at Horndean. They currently sit in 7th place on 44 points from 27 games. Top Goalscorer this season in all competitions is Noel Leighton on 23 followed by Ibrahim Jalloh with 16 and Kevin Rivera on 11.

The Millers
Steve McKimm and his team who went top of the league for the first time after beating Burgess Hill Town on the 20th February will be looking to stay one point ahead of Ramsgate this afternoon who host Ashford United. Neither the Millers or Ramsgate played last Saturday, their games at Beckenham Town and East Grinstead respectively being postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
