The Hawks were play-off winners in the South East Division courtesy of a single goal victory over Hythe Town following a third place finish in 2022/23, they finished comfortably in mid table last season. After a 50 year history in the local county leagues, the club enjoyed a five year period in the National League South during the last decade.

They currently sit in 16th place on 46 points from 39 games. The Hawks have recovered from a disastrous start which after the opening 16 games saw them amass just 12 points and looking back at the league table on the 23rd November they were bottom. Manager Shaun Saunders returned and they have recovered well picking up 34 points from their last 23 games. Top goalscorer is Harry Bridle who joined in December at the end of last year on 10 from his 19 appearances.

In the six previous games including two in the Covid seasons the Millers have never beaten the Hawks with three draws and three losses. Steve McKimm and his team will be hoping to break this duck with a win and all three points. Whilst inevitably eyes will be on how Dover Athletic and Chichester City are faring it remains very much in the Millers own hands and two wins from three will secure the 5th play off spot. Interesting match fact: This will be the first time Cray Valley (PM) have played on Good Friday since full match records began in 2002. Two games in three days on Easter Saturday and Easter Monday were regular occurrences but not so games on Good Friday.
