Invicta under new manager Jay Saunders currently sit on the top of the table on 51 points from 20 games, eight points clear of second and 14 points clear of third. They have won 16 of their opening games suffering just the one defeat 2-1 on a Tuesday evening at the end of October away at Hashtag United. Since that defeat they have won all of their last nine league games. Top goalscorers in all competitions are the vastly experienced Joe Pigott on 13, Jake Huchinson on 12 and Ade Yusuff who of course spent the curtailed Covid season 2020/21 with the Millers on 8. Pigott, still only 32, started his professional career with Charlton Athletic and has represented a number of Football League Clubs including AFC Wimbledon where he made around 150 appearances averaging a goal every 3 games.

Clearly this will be a mayor test for the Millers but one that Steve McKimm and his team will be relishing.
