The Millers recorded their first home victory of the season in an entertaining game at the Mayne Arena, with a brace from Chris Dickson and a goal from substitute Bailee Cain.

The hosts took the lead in the 23rd minute with a Dickson penalty. The veteran striker coolly smashed the ball into the bottom corner beyond the outstretched arm of visitor's keeper Tom Wray. The Bay were thwarted by some fine saves from Harrison Chamberlain whilst at the other end, the home side could have extended their lead when Eniola Hassan hit the post and Jack Kirby’s effort was saved by Wray.

Dickson netted his second on the hour after when he lobbed Wray after latching onto a great through ball from Montel Agyemang. Pain added a third 6 minutes later after Wray could only parry Hassan’s shot into his path.
