PITCHING-IN ISTHMIAN LEAGUE SOUTH EAST DIVISION
CRAY VALLEY (PM) 0 HASTINGS UNITED 3 - SAT 7 NOV 2026 - ATT 270
GOALS: HU - Clarke 19 (pen), Mfula 38, Pidgeon 72

Match Report by Steve Chapman
The Millers will rue missing a hatful of first half chances as Hastings dished out the perfect smash and grab at the Mayne Arena. The hosts dominated the early possession but conceded a penalty in the 18th minute when Dan Vaughan was harshly adjudged to handle a Sam King cross. Kensa Clarke coolly despatched the resulting spot kick. Cray continued to pepper the U's goal but were hit on the counterattack just before the break when Freddie Legg’s long pass was collected by Warren Mfula, who shot clinically past Harrison Chamberlain.
Neither side created many opportunities after the break until the unmarked Samuel Pidgeon headed home from a corner after 72 minutes to secure all 3 points.
