GAVIN TOMLIN'S 78th MINUTE STRIKE secured the points for The Millers in this scrappy local derby as Kevin Watson's men kept up the pressure on the Play Off places.
A Jack Barry own goal seperated the teams at the interval - the defender deflecting Tomlin's drive past keeper Steve Phillips in the 23rd minute.
As the teams exchanged blows early in the second half, it was left to Tomlin to settle matters 12 minutes from time when a superb through ball from Kweku Ansah saw him guide a low drive across Phillips into the far corner of the net.
Sports threatened to reduce the arrears 5 minutes later as Danny Young headed a Lewis Clarke free kick against Millers keeper Andy Walker's post, but the hosts safely saw the game through.
