BIG MATCH PREVIEW
CRAY VALLEY (PM) v HYTHE TOWN
26 OCT 2021
PITCHING IN ISTHMIAN LEAGUE – SOUTH EAST DIVISION
By Richard J Green
After firing 11 goals on the road in the last week, The Millers return to the Artic Stadium on Tuesday to face a Hythe Town side looking for a first win in four games.
Currently occupying a mid-table position, The Cannons have struggled in front of goal themselves this season, hitting the net only nine times in eight league matches. Former Gillingham striker Frannie Collin currently leads the way with four goals in all competitions.
Manager Steve Watt is eyeing the promotion places at a Club who were knocking loudly on the play-off door for three successive seasons before Covid struck. “The league this season is one of the most competitive since I’ve been involved in it. We have to approach every game the right way and do the basics right. If we do that, we’ve got the quality to win games, but you can’t overlook anyone in this league” he told KentOnline.
New Millers signing Alex Breffo will be hoping to make his home debut just three weeks after appearing for Phoenix Sports in Eltham.
