BIG MATCH PREVIEW
CRAY VALLEY (PM) v BROMLEY
22nd NOV 2022 – KICK OFF 7.45pm
DFDS KENT SENIOR CUP – 2nd ROUND
By Richard J Green

New Manager Tommy Osborne leads Valley at the Artic Stadium for the first time on Tuesday as his charges face National League neighbours Bromley in the Kent Senior Cup.
FA Trophy holders Bromley currently sit in eighth place in the Vanarama National League – and on the fringe of the Play Off places - following Saturday’s 3-2 win at Dorking Wanderers.
The Ravens will be looking to progress in a competition they last won in 2006/7 – their sixth such success – while Valley played in the junior competition – the Kent Senior Trophy – prior to promotion to Step 4 in 2019/20.
Following defeats at home to Whitstable Town (1-2) in 2019/20, and away to Margate (0-5) last season, victory at Folkestone Invicta eight weeks ago has been Valley’s only success in the competition to date, so the chance to pit themselves against Andy Woodman’s side brings with it the opportunity of a quarter final tie in the New Year.
Valley skipper Connor Dymond misses the game due to a one match suspension as Osborne’s men look to build on Saturday’s superb win at Chichester City
With no replays in the Kent Senior Cup, the tie will be settled on penalties if the scores are level after 90 minutes on Tuesday.
