Cray Valley U23 Development side which included a number of our U18 players today reached the last four of the Kent Intermediate Cup. They beat Snodland Town Reserves who play in the Kent County League 3-1 at the Artic Stadium. Valley took the lead in the 25th Minutes through Harry Smith and doubled the lead in the second half when substitute Flint David -King scored just after the hour mark, shortly after coming on as a substitute.
Snodland pulled a goal back on 72 minutes but Valley ensured progress in the cup when another substitute Jake Parrott added a third five minuted from time.
It will be interesting to see who Cray will be drawn against in the semi-final. Two other quarter finals were also played today with Margate U23's winning 5-3 at Chatham Town Reserves and Rusthall Reserves beating Lordswood Reserves 3-0. The remaining tie is between K Sports Reserves and Maidstone United Dev and is scheduled for the 5th February.
