Cray Valley travel to play Croydon in the First qualifying round of this seasons FA Youth Cup on Wednesday 17th August at the Croydon Sports Arena, Albert Road, South Norwood, SE25 4QL kick off is 19.45pm. Admission adults £5, concessions £3.

This season under the guidance of Manager Graham Knight they will field a team made up almost entirely of first year U18’s, all very talented but will be experiencing their first FA Youth Cup campaign so the opportunity provides a huge challenge for them if they are to progress further. This season's squad is likely to contain just one player who appeared in last season's successful campaign, see below.

2018/19: The first year of entry to the competition for Cray Valley and ironically in the first qualifying round were also drawn away to Croydon at the Sports Arena. A gutsy performance ended in a 3-0 defeat.

2019/20: In the first qualifying round Cray Valley achieved their first victory in the competition beating Bridon Ropes 2-1 with goals from George Palmer and Mohammed Dean earning the right to play Dulwich Hamlet at Champion Hill in the next round. A brave performance from the young Millers on the night but Dulwich Hamlet went through with the only goal of the game in the 5th minute.

2021/22: Cray Valley reached the first round proper for the first time in their short history of entering the competition. With the advantage of playing at the Artic Stadium in all four rounds, victories were achieved over Sutton Athletic 7-1, Phoenix Sports 4-2, Bexhill United 3-2 before suffering a narrow 0-1 defeat against Aldershot Town.
