A new era for both clubs who fielded competitive U23 sides for the first time in the SEEFL Development and it was the visitors who came out on top. Two first half goals, the first a deflected own goal and the second a penalty gave Boro the lead at the interval. A spirited fight back ivy the hosts was ended by two late goals as Boro run out winners.
