Defeat in an exciting game for the young Millers tonight.

The young Milles started brightly and opened the scoring in the 14th minute, doubling the lead three minutes later. However Town hit back with some clinical finishing pulling a goal back on 27 minutes and eight minutes later scoring twice in a minute to lead 3-2 at half time.

Fifteen minutes into the second half the young Millers equalised following an excellent set up by number nine and finish from Enoch Muwonge. In a free-flowing game both sides went in search of a winner. Jack Leary went close for the young Millers, his well hit shot striking the foot of the post and Town forced the young Millers keeper to make a couple of good saves. With the clocking ticking down towards added time it was the visitors who scored the all important seventh goal to go 4-3 ahead. It came from the penalty spot after the keeper brought down a Town player as he went through, the kick calmly slotted into the bottom corner of the net. In added time Town added a fifth, another fine build up and finish, to secure the points and maintain their 100% record with their fourth win.

An entertaining evening if not the result Peter Springett and his side would have wanted.
