Our Under 18's get their FA Youth Cup campaign underway with an away local derby on Friday night against Cray Wanderers U19. It will be a tough test for manager Matt Jeffrey and his team who are all first year U18's. The game takes place at Flamingo Park, kick off is 19.45 and entry is £5.

This season Matt's team will compete in the Kent Youth League U18 North Division. Last season as U16's they finished runners-up in the KYL U16 Central Division winning 13 and losing 5 of their 18 league games.

This weekend sees the start of the new youth football season with both the Junior Premier and Kent Youth Leagues kicking off. We are represented by 12 teams across three leagues and various age groups from U8 to U18. We are delighted that long serving club stalwart Steve Chapman has agreed to be our Director of Youth Football and will be overseeing things this season. It is a conscious drive to bring the youth section closer and feel more part of the club. There is much to do and a learning curve for Steve and his team but the early signs are we are making progress. We wish all involved an enjoyable season.
