A warm welcome to the Artic Stadium to Kyrell Lisbie who becomes the latest to join Steve McKimm's Millers growing squad as we approach opening day. A wide forward player with an eye for a goal.
Kyrell, now 19, in fact made a couple of first team appearances for the Millers at the end of the 2020/21 Covid season. First coming on as a 70th minute substitute to replace his illustrious Dad and Cray Valley legend Kevin Lisbie in a London Senior Cup second round tie against Glebe which ended in a 4-1 victory. Kyrell then repeated the feat again, replacing Kevin Lisbie, this time in the 65th minute in the semi-final of the same competition in a 2-0 defeat at AFC Wimbledon. Both ties were played behind closed doors due to Covid regulations.
Kyrell along with his twin brother Kyreece when 16 played for our U23 side before going onto represent both West Ham and Watford U18 sides. He later joined Welling United in January 2023 before signing for us as we approach the new season.
Kyrell played as a trialist in two of our recent pre-season games coming on at half time in the game at Raynes Park Vale, scoring our equaliser in the 1-1 draw. He also played the first hour or so last Saturday against Dulwich Hamlet.
Welcome Kyrell
