First official pre-season game completed and a competitive run-out, minutes in the legs as the saying goes! Opening goal for the Millers came from a trialist, a spectacular volley from distance, to take the lead on the stroke of half time. Petts Wood & Holmesdale equalised from a corner in the 74th minutes before taking the lead four minutes later. The Millers equaliser was from a trialist Femi Adeniyi from our Under-23 team in the 89th minute. Femi is one of a number of young players who have been given a chance with the first-team so far this pre-season and the U23s will continue to play a vital role this year. However a screamer described a terrific ping with the last kick of the game won it for PW & H.
