A Don Samuel hat trick helped National South Ebbsfleet United to a 3-2 victory in this final pre-season fixture for the Millers.

Ade Shokunbi gave the Millers an early lead firing home from just inside the box in the 14th minute before Fleet equalised nine minutes later. Fleet went ahead six minutes into the second half and Samuel completed his hat trick with a thunderous strike into the top left hand corner on 57 minutes. The Millers pulled a goal back on 68 minutes, a Mal Turner cross appeared to be turned into their own net by a Fleet defender. The Millers were denied a late equaliser when Matt Hall in the visitors goal pulled off an excellent save in the 78th minute. Plenty of energy from Kevin Lisbie’s team and a good run out for both sides.
