Hawks bring a 100% league record to the Artic Stadium on Saturday as Valley look to build on two clean sheets in the last ten days.
After a surprising defeat to K Sports in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup, Whitehawk’s league campaign has brought victories at home to Sittingbourne (2-1) and a single goal win at newly promoted Littlehampton Town.
With the Hawks’ squad undergoing major surgery during the summer – notably the return of former Club favourite Helge Orome, and Adam Allen from Hartley Wintney -, manager Shaun Saunders will be expecting a much improved return from last season’s 16th place – their Isthmian League status only being preserved on the penultimate day with a goalless draw against Haywards Heath.
Barney Williams sits out the second match of his three match ban, joining the injured Anthony Edgar on the sidelines, while Hassan Ibrahiym looks set for a recall after a hamstring injury for Valley.
