The club moved to Hanbury Park in 1952 and the ground was opened by Stanley Rous for its inaugural match against Horsham. Covered terracing was installed along one side of the pitch, but later removed. However, the large main stand remains in place.

Haywards Heath Town nicknamed The Blues appointed new manager Jay Lovett last month, moving swiftly after Lovett left local rivals Burgess Hill Town. This was the Blues third managerial change of the season. They currently sit in 18th place on 31 points after 31 games and have a ten point gap above Faversham Town in 19th. They will be buoyed by the excellent point gained in a goal less draw last Saturday away at high flying Chatham Town.

Lovett has added to his squad since his appointment, his first signings were forwards Richard Pingling who he had known at his old club and Michael Uwezu from Whitstable Town. Defender Spike Steggall has joined on dual registration from National League side Dorking Wanderers and Midfielder Mario Gjini who previously played Pitching In Isthmian football with Romford. Lovett also returned to his old side to capture former Brighton and Hove Albion academy defender George Brown. Top goalscorer in all competitions this season for the Blues is Thomas Collins with 12 followed by Alex Laing on 7. Update on the Millers leading goalscorers this season shows Dan Bennett with 16, Adam Coombes 14 and Ade Adeyemo on 13.

Last season's encounter at the Hanbury Park Stadium saw the Millers lose a two goal lead only for Matt Warren to score the winner in the last minute to win 3-2. The match at the Artic Stadium earlier in the season ended in a 5-0 win for the home side, two goals each from Adam Coombes and Tom Chambers and one from Cem Tumkaya.

The Millers will have gained confidence from their recent return to form and Saturday's 5-1 triumph against play off rivals Ashford United. However manager Tommy Osborne will be only too aware of the pitfalls that can lie ahead, speaking to Kentish Football after the Ashjford game he said “Whenever we’ve gone there in recent years, we’ve always found it a really difficult place to go and I think you can see this season teams at the bottom end of the table have taken points off teams at the top of the table...We have to go there and if we don’t play well and don’t perform then we’ll drop points, it’s as simple as that. In terms of how many points (we need to finish in the play-offs), I don’t know. The next 7 games are 7 cup finals!"
