Despite a valiant effort from the Millers who worked tirelessly throughout Invicta extended their winning run to ten league games. Kick off was delayed 15 minutes following the closure of part of the M20 motorway hampering journeys to the ground. The first half saw the hosts dominate for the most part, missing a number of opportunities with Shaun Rowley making a couple of vital saves. The Millers though went close themselves on a couple of ocassions as they threatened on the break but it remained goal less at the interval with the Valley goal in particular having at times a charmed life.

Invicta made the breakthrough on 56 minutes, Adam Lovatt with the goal. The Millers then produced their best period of the game as they looked for the equaliser but were unable to find the finish needed. Invicta finally put the game beyond doubt adding a second through a quality finish from Joe Pigott with six minutes of normal time remaining. Ex-Miller Ade Yusuff scored a third in added time to cap a deserved victory for the league leaders.
