The battle of the Millers, this is the first league meeting between the two sides although they did meet here at the Artic Stadium in an FA Cup tie in the second covid season 2020/21. Cray Valley (PM) wining 2-0 that day. Aveley enjoyed two seasons in the National South after being promoted from the Isthmian Premier via the play off's in season 2022/23. They finished 7th in their first season but were relegated last season. They currently sit in 7th position on 20th points from 12 games. They are unbeaten in their last 5 league games winning 3 of them including 5-0 on Saturday against Ramsgate. Top goalscorer in all competitions is Ollie Peters on 6.

Cray Valley would have been encouraged by parts of the performance at home to Lewes on Saturday which earned them a valuable point. They currently sit in 19th place on 12 points from 13 games.
