The Millers have picked up two points with draws in their opening games against Margate 0-0 at home and on Saturday away 1-1 at Sittingbourne. Chris Dickson with the goal on the stroke of half time and Sittingbourne equalising in the 96th minute.

Punjab United opened their league campaign on Saturday picking up a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Eastbourne Town with an 80th minute equaliser from ex-Miller Chris Edwards after Town had gone ahead just before the interval. They have also been in cup action beating Seaford Town 3-0 in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round and progressing in the Kent Senior Cup Preliminary Round at Erith Town winning 5-4 on penalties after it finished 1-1 in normal time.

Cemil Tumkaya had given the Millers the lead in the 20th minute but Punjab hit back with Simon Cuthbert scoring two goals in two minutes (35,37) to lead at the interval. Francis Babalola equalised five minutes after the re-start and Kevin Lisbie with a double (57, 64) gave the Millers the upper hand as they lead 4-2. Newly promoted Punjab though had other ideas and two goals in the final ten minutes through Kieran Simms 82 minutes and Joe Loft in the 90th minute earned them a share of the points.
