Tuesday 5th October is the new date for The Millers postponed fixture against Phoenix Sports at The Artic Stadium exactly one week after the original scheduled date, the entire midweek programme having been cancelled due to the fuel shortages.
The Isthmian League have advised that this weekend's fixtures must be played, unless exceptional circumstances prevent being able to travel.

BIG MATCH PREVIEW
CRAY VALLEY (PM) v PHOENIX SPORTS
5 OCT 2021
PITCHING IN ISTHMIAN LEAGUE – SOUTH EAST DIVISION
As the “fuel crisis” hopefully shows signs of abating, Kevin Watson’s Valley side return to The Artic Stadium on Tuesday night for this local derby - only their third home game of the season with the campaign now almost two months old.
An early FA Cup exit at Uxbridge, along with a lack of early season midweek fixtures, has seen The Millers play just seven matches since the season started back on 14th August – indeed their last game was ten days ago – a 3-1 victory at Three Bridges keeping them in touch with the early season pacesetters.
Local rivals share some neighbourly love when we met in February 2020
This intervening period has seen experienced defender Kalvin Morath-Gibbs move on to pastures new while Watson’s latest recruit, former Leatherhead defender David Omperon, could be in line to make his debut.
Barnehurst based opponents Phoenix Sports have fallen off the rails of late, losing their last four matches after a solid start to the campaign under Manager Paul Bryon.
Striker Lekan Osideko leads the way in the goals chart for Sports, although all of his six early season goals have come in the FA Cup.
On the scoresheet for Phoenix in Saturday’s 2-1 league defeat at Sittingbourne was former Miller Fraser Walker, while another ex-Valley man Kweku Ansah has been a regular in their line-up this season.
The last decade has been one of great progress for the Club after becoming a founder member of the Kent Invicta League in 2011.
Following promotion to the SCEFL in 2013, Sports won the Championship at only their second attempt in 2015 – along with reaching the fifth round in the FA Vase following a succession of testing away fixtures -, and have since maintained a comfortable mid-table existence in the Isthmian League – their best finish coming in 2016/17 when they finished eighth in the North Division with a very creditable 75 points.
New signing David Ompreon will be hoping to make his home debut for Valley after an impressive performance at Whitstable was brought to a premature end. Following a booking for a late tackle, Ompreon saw red for a second offence within minutes and so will miss Saturday’s trip to AFC Sudbury.
