Match Preview:

Chatham Town were champions of the Isthmian South East Division last season earning them promotion to the Isthmian Premier Division. The have got off to a flyer in the league and currently sit 2nd with 24 points from 12 games having won seven of them and just two defeats. An early defeat in the FA Cup to Ramsgate however they beat Heybridge Swifts 2-1 in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy to reach today's stage.

Cray Valley for their part entered the FA Trophy earlier and victories away at Broadbridge Heath 2-0, home to Hartney Wintney 2-0 and away again at Carshalton Athletic 2-1 have been achieved to reach this stage. Clearly today will be a big test but Valley remain unbeaten in the League, albeit only 5 games plus the two major cups, a total of sixteen games with next weekends FA Cup First Round tie at Charlton Athletic to follow.
