Matt Jeffrey's U18's once again stole the limelight again with an 8 goal thrashing of SE Dons to remain at the summit of the Kent Youth League North division. A long way to go but that's maximum points from five games. TJ Dros netted an amazing 5 goals and Will Benedict, Jayden Ogbuka and Akin Sowah were the other scorers. Mario's U14's inflicted Kent United's first league defeat of the season with an impressive 2-0 away victory and our Under 13's convincingly beat AFC Lewisham 5-1 to remain second but the point deficit has been reduced to 2 points following Bromley's loss to Cray Wanderers. Aaron Minott's side lead 2-1 at half time but totally dominated the second half to secure the points. Our 16's and 15's are struggling to gain any momentum at present. The 15's suffered a fourth successive league defeat to remain bottom of the North Division whilst Rob's 16's remain half way in their division following a 3-1 home defeat against local rivals Metrogas.

No matches for our Girls and U16 Premier teams in the JPL this weekend so it was left to Kingsleigh Hammond's Championship side to star again for the second week running with an impressive 6-3 win away at Bexley Borough. They stormed into a three goal lead before home side even had a shot on target. In the end they run out 6-3 winners with goals from Jayden(2), Jovan (2), Chin and Jorge.

Our Selkent teams had a Super Sunday with 7 victories in 10 matches. The only sides to succumb to defeats were our U8's and U13's (Green). Arron Bell's U18's continued their impressive start in the Senior division with a fine away 4-2 win at Kingsdale and Soul's U16's built on last weekend's success hitting five past Kingsdale without reply. Our U8X won both of their matches against Wildcats and Gary's U10X beat Ballers 4-2. Our other sides were in action in the League cup. Matt Mundy's U12's progressed to the next round winning 3-1 at On Target (I don't know who names some of these teams!) and Mark Hemming expressed his delight following his U13's(Black) impressive performance against Junior Reds. It finished 6-0 but the scoreline could have easily hit double figures. The only side to exit the cup was Jacques U13's (Green) who lost 5-1 to a strong Dartford Royals outfit.
