Match Preview:
The Wings currently sit in 21st place on 25 points from 31 games. They have taken 4 points from the last six games which include a 2-1 victory against Carshalton Athletic and a goalless draw at St Albans. They suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat from a goal in the 95th minute at home to Dartford on Saturday. They have certainly shuffled the pack this season utilising nearly 70 different players in all competitions to date. Manager Ryan Maxwell who took over in November last year has continued to tweak things as he searches to turn things around. One recent signing is Ibby Akanbi who was released by Cray Valley (PM) on the 11th January having made 30 appearances this season and remains the Millers top goalscorer in all competitions on 12. Another ex-Miller this season, Sonny Black, made 10 appearances since joining the Wings but has now been released.
The Millers will be buoyed by gaining their first three point haul on Saturday in their 1-0 victory at Lewes after a run of eight defeats and two draws since winning 4-1 at home to Wingate & Finchley on the 13th December. They currently sit just outside the bottom four in 18th place on 31 points from 32 games. Manager Kevin Lisbie and his team will be only to aware though how tight things are at the foot of the table and as such how crucial tonight's meeting is, as both teams battle to avoid relegation.
