Match Preview:
The Millers start life back in the Isthmian South East with a home fixture against Margate now embarking on their third season at step 4 having been relegated from the Isthmian Premier in season 2023/24. It is just one of two league games in the division the other being AFC Croydon v Sittingbourne. All the other South East Division clubs commence their FA Cup journey with the start of the extra-preliminary round. The four clubs including the Millers in league action today enter the FA Cup in two weeks time at the preliminary round stage.

The Club announced its squad numbers earlier this week and manager Kevin Lisbie will have some tough choices to make as he decides on his starting line up and indeed his final 16 man match day squad. Lisbie was very up beat in an exclusive Q&A session for season ticket holders on Tuesday evening and is pleased with their pre-season preparations. There are thirteen players who potentially could make their league debuts for the Millers on Saturday. Clearly it will take time for the new look side to come together but Lisbie will be hoping to get three points on the board.

Margate have a new management team in place with Jamie Coyle and his assistant Matt Longhurst having taken the reigns in the summer. They too will be looking to get off to a winning start. It promises to be compelling as always, hope to see you there!
