Match preview:
The Bay are next up as visitors to the Mayne Arena. Managed by Ben Smith, now in his second spell at the club, a face well known to the Millers with a rivalry starting with Canterbury City and the FA Vase Semi Final in March 2019 continuing with his first spell at Herne Bay and more recently Ramsgate and the chase for the SCEFL title in season 2023/24. The `Bay currently sit in 7th place on 12 points from five games having beaten Margate, Broadbridge Heath, Deal Town and Sheppey United. They have lost just once in the league 3-1 at Faversham Town.

Leading goalscorer is Joe Taylor formerly of Ramsgate, who has been re-united with Ben Smith and has hit the back of the net 11 times this season albeit 8 were in the cups. Former Miller midfielder Sonny Black who made 100 appearances for the club is now at the Bay as is former youth player Rodney Eruotor and Jerry Puemo who made 12 appearance last season.

The Millers have introduced a number of new players over the past week as Kevin Lisbie searches for the right balance. It has been a difficult start to the season with just the one victory in the league 1-0 at Whitstable Town. They currently sit in 14th place on 7 points from 8 games although the teams below all have games in hand, some two or even three. Saturday's game therefore takes on even greater importance.
