24. Cray Valley Ladies Legends

The senior Ladies side ran under the Cray Valley banner for eight seasons between 2015/16 and 2022/23 during which they were twice champions of the South East Counties Woman's Football League Division 1 East in 2015/16 and 2021/22. After accepting promotion on the second occasion, in their final season in 2022/23 they competed at tier 6 for the first time but struggled and finished 12th / 12. They were also cup runners-up four times during those eight seasons.

100 CLUB

One player Lucy Robertson represented the club throughout this entire period making a total of 165 appearances scoring 55 times. A versatile attacking midfield player who could use either foot, became a regular on the left wing and in later years was the sides regular corner kick taker. Started with Kent Magpies LFC and after a playing career spanning twenty years decided to retire at the end of season 2022/23. A Cray Valley Ladies legend who loved wearing her favourite number eight shirt.

Another player that started with Kent Magpies LFC and played for Cray Valley Ladies in their inaugural season 2015/16 before injury forced her to stop playing after the end of season 2021/22. During those seven seasons she made 135 appearances scoring 12 times. A defender who read the game well and played most of her games at left back. Had a sweet left foot and scored a few wonderful goals from free kicks just outside the box. Another Cray Valley Ladies legend.

Finishing just shy of 100 games but deserving a notable mention is Shelley Minett who was club captain for the first four seasons from 2015/16 to 2018/19 before she retired during which time she made 88 appearances scoring 55 goals. Originally an accomplished centre back, Shelley converted to a centre forward in the absence of anyone else for her final three seasons with great success.
