Jason Child's red card after 22 minutes allowed the Millers to take charge of this fixture as kevin Lisbie and Ashley Sains scored soon after to send the Millers into the break with a comfortable lead. This fiercely contested local derby reached a crescendo after 77 minutes as the Millers Jamie Day and Glebe's Aaron Fray were both sent for an early shower as an angry exchange between the two teams threatened to boil over. Lisbie added a third for the Millers 7 minutes later to finish the visitors off.
